2003 CBR 954 RR HRC AMA Race Bike #98 Jake Zemke

The 2000’s were one of the most competitive times in USA Road Racing. When a private businessman from New Hampshire had a dream to put a factory race program together that’s just what he did. Bruce was the owner of a very prominent school bus company who was also a racer himself that had the passion and determination to build a race program as the Junior team to Team HRC.

By starting with young talent he launched the Road Race careers of Roger Lee Hayden, Alex Gobert, Jake Zemke, Josh Hayes and Damon Buckmatser as his pilots. His program became the factory team for factory Superbike riders who went on to illustrious careers.

This particular bike was part of the Bruce Transportation/ Erion Racing collaboration. It was the bike that Jake Zemke rode to third place in the Formula Extreme championship in 2003. Bike is in original condition as when it was retired in 2003. Recently the bike has been recomissioned and is back to its updated race capabilities. This bike was acquired directly from Bruce and comes with all the trick bits that HRC had at the time.
