MODEL INFORMATION

Bike in correct and ready for the road. It was serviced and only used for display on the particular garage of the current owner. We deliver the bike with bill of sale and spanish paperwork.

In 1994, Aprilia released the RS250, a road-legal replica version of their RSV250. Powering the RS was a modified version of the liquid-cooled, 249cc, two-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin from Suzuki’s RGV250. The RS’s engine mounted the Suzuki’s 34mm Mikuni flat slide carbs, though it featured its own Aprilia-designed expansion chambers, barrels, air-box, and exhaust system, a revised ignition & ECU also a higher compression ratio.

Power reached 70 hp at 11,900 rpm. The chassis was a double aluminum beam that used the engine as a load-bearing element and was complemented by a banana-type swingarm, very much of the time. The latter was shaped that way to allow the tubulars to be housed in a way that improved ground clearance.

The inverted fork was Showa sourced with a 41mm diameter, and was adjustable for both compression and rebound. Sachs was in charge of the rear monoshock, where you could work with the preload, compression and rebound. The brakes were Brembo Oro with two 298mm front discs bitten by four-piston calipers and a 220mm rear one with a two-piston caliper.

The technical sheet of the RS250 is spectacular with a dry weight of 141 kg, a maximum speed of 210 km/h.

More about this bike: Bike in very good condition and ready for the road. It was full overhauled and serviced for a correct restoration in 2022. The last owner keep in his garage and never used after restoration. The frame and all components was checked before paint. All seals, hoses and liquids was changed also. The engine was fully revised using new pistons and cylinders refurbished, the carburettors was cleaned and serviced to offers the max performance. All components are standard/original except of the exhaust silencers and another small piece. As you can see the bike have small defects on the seat, dashboard, swingarm, headlamp and a small scratch on the bellypan . We deliver the bike with Bill of Sale and European paperwork.
